Project Description

Environmental campaigners

Their experiences, failures and successes

Environmental campaigners devote countless hours to their efforts in trying to address Australia’s environmental problems. We wanted to know more about their experiences, including the type of activism they did, their feelings about failure and their experiences of success.

In order to do this we interviewed 26 experienced environmental activists from around Australia. The majority were volunteer leaders of their environmental groups, and were active on a range of environmental issues. We asked them questions about their experiences and perceptions, collated the information and then investigated key themes which emerged.

This information was compiled into a short report, which is available for your download.
