The AntiNuclear Alliance of Western Australia ANAWA acts as an umbrella group for organisations campaigning against the nuclearisation of Australia.

Mission:
Our role is mainly in research, political lobbying and publication of information that we believe the community needs in order to make informed decisions about uranium mining, nuclear power, weapons and waste. We are not a special interest group. We are the tip of the iceberg, representing the 7080 of Western Australians who oppose uranium mining and waste dumping in Australia, particularly in our home state.

This group came into being in 1997 then known as the AntiUranium Coalition, AUCWA, to act as an umbrella group for organisations campaigning against the nuclearisation of Australia.
